Founding Windrose in 2012 in Al Buraimi, Greg’s passion for coffee grew out of a love for Yemen and a desire to serve the coffee community in Oman and beyond. With more than a decade of roasting experience, spanning hundred of coffee lots and over ten thousand individual roasts, his attention to detail can be found in each cup of Windrose coffee.

At Windrose, Robynn is affectionally known as “the Captain.” In 2017, she purchased a beached dhow and used its wood to create the centerpiece of the Windrose Cafe, its bar top. Her eye for design and heart for our staff creates an atmosphere of “home” in a space where peace and community organically flourish.

Andrew has extensive experience in farm-level quality control as well as natural coffee processing from years spent with the coffee people of Yemen. He leads the Windrose Team in green coffee selection, quality control and recipe development. He is a licensed Q Grader and has been roasting coffee since 2009.

Omar Salman was the first Omani trained as a Specialty Coffee Barista beginning in Saudi Arabia and then Oman. He is an expert advisor for new coffee projects as well as established cafes and restaurants. As the Windrose Wholesale Relationship Manager Omar takes great pleasure in guiding our customers in establishing, updating and maintaining successful coffee programs.

Henry joined Windrose as a barista in 2019. He has since transitioned to working in the roastery full-time as the roastery coordinator, ensuring that our wholesale customers receive their orders accurately and on time!

Geofrey has worked in the Windrose cafe since its opening in 2018. His skills with coffee and people are on show when making drinks at the Windrose bar or during his work as a trainer in the Windrose lab.
